Based in France since 2006, Bogdan Nesterenko performs extensively across Europe in both solo and chamber music recitals. He is frequently invited to perform at prestigious venues (Vichy Opera, Villa Strauli in Switzerland, Théâtre National du Beauvaisis, Ebersmunster Abbey, Lille Opera, Luxembourg Philharmonic…) and renowned festivals (Lille Piano Festival, Baroque Music Festivals of Strasbourg and Madiran, International Organ Festival in Flanders, Septembre Musical de l'Orne, Nuit Blanche in Paris...) throughout Europe, Ukraine, and Asia. He formed the Trio SVITA with Benjamin and Khrystyna Boursier (violins) and performs with Jan Vermeire (organ), Dorian Gheorghilas (pan flute), and soprano Olga Vojnovic.
In the field of contemporary music, he has participated in premieres by M. Bourbon, Ch. Hache, N. Debard, J. Dassié, and S. Fache, and premiered the 'Concerto de deux mondes' (Concerto of Two Worlds) for accordion and symphony orchestra by Omar Yagoubi.
He also performs regularly with soprano Juliette de Massy. Their recording of Bach arias, 'Comme un air de passions...' (ed. AR-RE-SE), received critical acclaim. In a duo with Marc Hervieux (recorders), he recorded the album 'Dialogue insolite' (Unusual Dialogue) for RAINBOW CLASSIC. The musician's latest solo album, 'Un Sacre du printemps' (A Rite of Spring), is dedicated to Ukrainian and Russian music.
Bogdan Nesterenko plays a 'Jupiter' brand 'bayan' accordion, an instrument that, thanks to its tonal richness and multiple registers, offers a vast range of musical possibilities.
